Private Household Preparedness

When it matters most,
you are held.

Held Advisory Group designs preparedness systems for private households — covering supply infrastructure, documentation of valuable assets, and creating custom family emergency protocols.

The Problem.

Most households have hidden gaps.

Documentation

Most households have no pre-loss asset records. When a claim is filed without documentation, the process takes longer, pays less, and generates far more friction — at exactly the moment you can least afford it.

Evacuation

Without a pre-designed evacuation framework, households make poor decisions under stress — wrong routes, forgotten essentials, lost time. Clarity in the first hour depends entirely on decisions made before anything happens.

Supplies without structure

Preparedness products are widely available. What they cannot provide is the decision logic, role clarity, and execution protocols that determine whether a household actually functions under disruption. Supplies without structure create decision fatigue. Infrastructure eliminates it.

Structured systems.

Our Framework.

Pillar 1

Insurance-Ready Asset Documentation

Your assets are documented before disaster strikes so your claims are defensible, not disputed.

  • Pre-loss video documentation of valuable personal property

  • Categorized digital database with valuations

  • Cloud-redundant, multi-access storage

  • Insurance carrier liaison preparation

Pillar 2

Preparedness Infrastructure

Customized sourcing of supplies and professional installation, not a generic emergency kit you put in a closet and forget.

  • 14-day shelter-in-place supply staging

  • Customized grab-and-go kits per household member

  • Critical response equipment

  • Annual supply rotation and refresh

Pillar 3

Household Emergency Protocols

Your family acts with structured clarity in the first critical hours.

  • Printed emergency cards customized for each household member

  • Custom evacuation routes and protocols for every emergency scenario

  • Utility shutoff training for all adults

  • Written and tested role-assignment for emergency protocols

Take the online Household Resilience Test.

Answer a focused set of questions to receive a real-time assessment of your household's current preparedness. It takes five minutes and identifies where your gaps are.

Held Advisory Group does not collect any data put from this test.

"Preparedness is not about anticipating catastrophe.

It is about removing ambiguity."

Our Process.

Held Advisory Group operates as a structured advisory practice. Every household engagement follows a defined process — designed to move efficiently, respect your time, and deliver a completed resilience system without placing the burden of coordination or follow-through on you.

1. Private Consultation

We begin with a complimentary conversation — a focused assessment of your household's preparedness, your resilience score, and what matters most to you right now. From there, we follow up with menu of recommended services tailored to your situation, so you can choose the level of engagement that fits: the full scope, or exactly the pieces you need.

2. In-Home Assessment

Our advisors, trained in emergency management by FEMA, will meet you at your home, complete a thorough hazard assessment of your property, discuss any open questions regarding your household-specific needs, and complete a detailed video documentation of the valuable assets in your home.

3. Documentation & Planning

Over the course of about two weeks, our advisors will source equipment and products for your physical resilience infrastructure and design the end-to-end encrypted documentation of your assets in coordination with your insurance carrier.

4. Implementation & Staging

Two weeks after the in-home assessment, Held’s installation team will meet you at your home and implement the resilience infrastructure elements.

5. Continuity Briefing

In the final step, our advisors will present to you a Household Preparedness Dossier documenting your preparedness system, walk you through the household emergency protocols, practice key steps and role assignments, and hand over the insurance-ready documentation of your valuable assets.

You can get prepared in only four weeks.
